One owner, several CRMs
Buildout bought Rethink (February 2021) and Apto (January 2022), both CRE CRMs, and launched its own Buildout CRM in March 2026. Its site menu now lists Apto and Rethink by Buildout next to Buildout CRM. If you are choosing between Apto and Buildout, you are choosing between products from one company.

What the vendor says it includes
- Buildout Showcase: turns property data into brochures, websites and emails and syndicates listings.
- Buildout CRM (launched March 10, 2026) inside Buildout Suite.
- Manage & Close: commissions, splits, approvals and invoicing.
- Apto: CRE broker CRM and deal management; the 2022 release said its customers included CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL and NKF.
Pros

Cons
- Full pricing needs a form.
- Overlapping products (Apto, Rethink, Buildout CRM) can confuse buyers.
- We could not read Apto’s own site.
