Real Estate CRM Market Share: October 2026

Last updated . All data pieces · Methodology

Agents, team leaders and brokers usually look up CRM market share when they are about to pick or switch a system and want to know how many peers use each one. Any answer depends on what is being counted: agents, seats, brokerage accounts or revenue; whether the figure covers one CRM or a wider software suite; and how old the statement is. A single share chart hides that the vendors publish their own counts in different units, and that no independent body tracks how the market divides among them.

We compiled vendor-reported user counts, survey data and public filings from eight publishers: Inside Real Estate, CINC, Follow Up Boss, Lofty, Lone Wolf Technologies, Real Geeks, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and Zillow Group's filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). We found no independent dataset that measures real estate CRM market share by vendor, so we have not calculated one. The headline figure is survey usage rather than a vendor share: 46% of agents in NAR's 2026 REALTORS® Technology Report named CRM among the technologies they use most often in their business. Vendor statements run from December 2023 through September 2026, and two vendor pages carry no date and were read on October 22, 2026.

Vendor-Reported Real Estate CRM User Counts, 2023 to 2026

Each figure below is the most recent count we found from the company itself, as reported by that company and not independently verified. The units differ, so the figures cannot be added together or turned into shares. For a feature-level look at these systems, see our real estate CRM software page.

Every figure is as reported by the company named and has not been independently verified. Rows are in alphabetical order. The Follow Up Boss figure comes from a co-founder's post on the day the Zillow Group acquisition was announced, and is the latest dated count we found from the company. The units differ (users, agents, professionals across a product family), so no shares have been calculated.

Statements from the same company do not always match. The company description in the May 2026 BoldTrail release refers to more than 400,000 agents and brokers, and a September 19, 2026 Inside Real Estate release describes the company as serving nearly 400,000 brokerages, agents and teams. The Wise Agent and Sierra Interactive home pages we checked did not state a user count.

CRM Use Among REALTORS®, 2026

NAR's 2026 report asked members which technologies they use most often in their business, and respondents could name more than one. The figures measure how many agents use some CRM, not which product they use. In the same report, 51% of agents named client relationship management tools among the emerging technologies they are watching most closely for 2026. Our real estate CRM guide explains what these systems do.

Survey of NAR members; NAR reports the results are based on responses from 1,200 agents. Selected rows from NAR's list of technologies agents use most often; respondents could choose more than one, so shares do not add to 100%. The survey did not ask which CRM product agents use.

Follow Up Boss Disclosures in Zillow Group SEC Filings, 2026

Among the companies in the first table, Zillow Group's filings are the only SEC filings we found with figures for a specific real estate CRM. They cover what Zillow paid for Follow Up Boss, but not how many agents use it or how much revenue it brings in. Side-by-side feature notes for several systems are on our software comparisons page.

Amounts as stated in the fair value note on contingent consideration. The filings describe Follow Up Boss revenue as coming primarily from its software-as-a-service CRM for agents, teams and brokerages. Zillow's estimate that most U.S. residential transactions involve an agent using at least one Zillow product covers all of its agent products and is not a CRM share, so it is not shown.

What the CRM Data Shows

No public source measures how the real estate CRM market divides among vendors, so the figures available are company counts in different units, survey usage across all products and acquisition terms. Read each number with its unit and date before comparing systems.
